The society Antyoday Mission Gram Sudhar Yojana was established on 1 February 1972 by visionary and great social worker Dr. Bhausaheb Bhoge in a small village, Thugaondeo, a rural part of Maharashtra in Nagpur district adjoining the borders of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh states.
Due to poverty and inadequate facilities, the village youths receded into the background of modernity. They were unable to show their hidden talent, and hence it became our bounden duty to align them with the mainstream of the nation by providing basic facilities like health, education and sports. This missionary zeal and an intense urge made Dr. Bhausaheb establish the society.
A small plant of this society has now flourished into a large tree, spreading its branches in Nagpur and Melghat — a tribal area in the remote part of Amravati district — comprising all types of educational institutions.
